Who we are

Eco Experience Whitsundays was created to offer visitors a genuine connection to the iconic marine environment of the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef. Our experiences are the place where education, conservation, and community come together.

Our mission is to create meaningful, land-based eco experiences that connect people to the true heart of the Whitsundays — creating real impact to protect marine life through direct support of conservation and clean seas initiatives

Through immersive tours and hands-on learning, we invite guests to discover the real stories of local conservation, understand the challenges facing our marine environment, and become part of the solution. Every experience is designed with purpose, transparency, and heart.

Every journey leaves a trace — ours creates real impact in keeping our seas clean.

At Eco Experience Whitsundays, we believe that real travel does more than entertain — it inspires change.

Our experiences don’t just show you the Whitsundays.

They invite you to discover, connect, and protect this beautiful region.

We are proud to offer experiences that are educational, environmentally responsible, and deeply rooted in the spirit of the Whitsundays community.

Our partnership with Eco Barge Clean Seas

Eco Experience Whitsundays is built through a close and values-aligned partnership with Eco Barge Clean Seas, the Whitsunday not-for-profit dedicated to marine debris removal, sea turtle rescue, and protecting our coastline.

This partnership ensures that:

  • Every tour contributes directly to real conservation outcomes.

  • Guests gain access to Eco HQ, where they can see marine debris recycling, turtle care efforts, and community-led conservation in action.

  • A percentage of our profits is reinvested into Eco Barge programs, helping expand their capacity and impact.

  • Educational content is accurate, meaningful, and guided by conservation experts.

Together, we are demonstrating how tourism and environmental stewardship can coexist — and thrive — for the benefit of our oceans and our community.
